I enjoyed the charming Victorian decor and spacious room. The large private grounds were perfect for leisurely walks, and I appreciated the direct access to the beautiful garden from my room.
More attention to cleanliness needed.

Spacious rooms with direct access to a beautiful garden enhance the stay, perfect for leisure. The charming Victorian decor adds a unique character that sets it apart from standard hotels.
The hotel could use some maintenance-specifically, the outside needs a good clean up and a fresh coat of paint to appear more inviting. Inside, many rooms don't feel properly maintained. Things like dusty windows with webbing and the lack of proper window coverings can be off-putting. Finding local amenities isn't straightforward given the distance to shops and restaurants and the absence of breakfast options may catch some off guard. The check-in process lacks direct staff interaction, which feels odd but can be adapted to. While the charm exists, attention to cleanliness and upkeep would significantly enhance the experience.

Lovely quiet spot for dog lovers
Perfect location for walking the dogs, nice and private. The entrance was clean and smelled great too. The heating took a bit to figure out, instructions would help. Really enjoyed the breakfast options-they had yummy fresh pastries and good coffee. Just wish the heating was clearer to use.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
I spent four nights in a Superior Twin Room. The beds were comfy. The keypad at the entrance was a bit finicky, and the bathroom walls could use a deep clean. Check out nearby dining options for a great meal!

The Superior Queen Room was spacious and impeccably clean, complete with a fridge and complimentary water and biscuits. Enjoying a comfy bed and settee, we appreciated the direct garden access for our dog. The location was peaceful and offered quick access to amenities, a plus. While we had no complaints, it would have been nice to have more dining options on-site.
